What to Expect
West Lothian Chiropractic is a modern natural health centre serving the Uphall community. If you’re a new patient, you want to know what to expect.
Please wear something you’re comfortable in so that you won’t need to change into a gown. Allow for some extra time to fill out your intake forms. That way, you can sit, relax and get used to our environment before your visit begins.
The Process
When you meet with your chiropractor or manual therapist you’ll discuss your issue, health history and learn about what we do. You’ll go through a chiropractic spinal examination that includes:
During this appointment, you’ll receive a full explanation of the findings from your examination. If your chiropractor believes you can benefit from care, they will explain why and give you an estimate of how long it will take to get results and how often you should see us.
We’ll discuss your expectations and the commitment required to achieve your health goals. Like the first visit, this visit takes about 30 minutes.
Your subsequent appointments are shorter in duration, taking about 15 minutes. You’ll receive regular re-examinations every six visits to assess your progress.
